AVS may provide a limited number of Product Analyses without payment. For example, certain users may receive access to up to 10 free Product Analyses, subject to the plan, promotion, territory, or other conditions presented at the time of use.
Free usage is provided on a per-user, per-browser, per-device, per-account, or other reasonable anti-abuse basis determined by AVS.
To protect the free offering and prevent fraudulent or repeated usage, AVS may use:
- Browser and device fingerprinting
- Device or browser identifiers
- IP and network signals
- Account information
- Session information
- Bot and risk indicators
- Usage history
- Fraud-detection technologies
AVS currently uses technology such as ThumbmarkJS as part of these controls.
You must not attempt to circumvent free-usage restrictions by:
- Clearing cookies for the purpose of obtaining additional free analyses
- Using multiple accounts for the same individual to obtain additional free usage
- Manipulating browser or device identifiers
- Deliberately modifying fingerprint characteristics
- Using automation to create accounts
- Rotating devices, proxies, IP addresses, VPNs, virtual machines, or browser profiles for the purpose of evading restrictions
- Interfering with fraud-detection technology
- Using any other technical or organizational method intended primarily to obtain free usage beyond the applicable allowance
We may reject an analysis, require account verification, limit free usage, suspend access, or terminate accounts where we reasonably believe abuse, circumvention, fraud, or automated misuse has occurred.
Fraud-prevention systems can produce incorrect signals. Users may contact AVS if they believe access has been limited in error.
